''A Story Of Hope'' is a novella similar to the original ''Dangan Ronpa 2: Goodbye Despair ''in it's deaths. Those who are deceased are comatose, and those who are alive are alive. Some of the character art is made by creators of characters, however, a lot of them are face claims used from online to help enhance the experience. Thanks to those amazing artists who made it a lot easier and a lot more enjoyable.

Sixteen students, as per usual, will enter the academy. However, they are not prepared for Jabberwock Island - the isolated island Monomi, the pink rabbit, shows them. Later in the novella, a two-toned bear named Monokuma defeats Monomi in battle and orders the sixteen students to kill each other!
