Dangan Ronpa: A Story Hope is a novella similar to the original Dangan Ronpa 2: Goodbye Despair in its deaths. Those who are deceased are comatose, and those who are alive are alive. Some of the character art is made by creators of the characters, however, a lot of them are face claims from online to help enhance the experience. Thanks to those amazing artists who made it a lot easier and a lot more enjoyable.
Sixteen students, as per usual, will enter the academy. However, they are not prepared for Jabberwock Island - the isolated island that Monomi, the pink rabbit, shows them. Later in the novella, a two-toned bear called Monokuma defeats Monomi in battle and orders the sixteen students to kill each other!
